As pioneers since the early 1980s in computerised dispensary and PMR (Patient Medication Record) systems, the McLernon Alchemist software remains one of the most advanced and easy to use systems in use.

In fact, so long has the system been in use, that it is easy to take for granted just how automated and functional Alchemist is. For the vast majority of Northern Ireland's pharmacists they will have been using the McLernon Alchemist day in and day out, safe in the knowledge that it will reliably record all dispensing activity and automate other vital aspects of the dispensary operation.
