GORDONS CHEMISTS GETS MCLERNONS MPS RETAIL

McLernon Computers is pleased to announce that one of its longest-standing customers, Gordons Chemists, has decided to install one of its newest products – our fully integrated Windows-based EPoS system MPS Retail –in all 60 of its branches in Northern Ireland and Scotland.

When Gordons was first established 30 years ago this year, Neil and Robert Gordon elected to install the McLernons DOS-based dispensing system, Alchemist. This was followed in 1996 when Gordons Chemists were the first large group to install the accompanying EPOS system, Prophet, working with McLernons to ensure that the front-of-shop system met their needs as the group grew over the years.

In the intervening period they have consistently upgraded their McLernons systems as their business expanded, and the installation of the EPoS system MPS Retail is the culmination of this.

The systems will be rolled-out in Northern Ireland over a 3 month period, with Scotland coming along thereafter.
